This series is for individuals who have never practiced yoga, for those who haven’t practiced in a while, and those with a beginner's mind.
The course will consist of 4 one hour classes with the objective of helping students feel comfortable in an all levels vinyasa yoga class. The classes will teach some basic poses frequently seen in a vinyasa yoga class, some philosophical concepts often encountered, common yoga vocabulary and etiquette, and what you might expect in an average yoga class.
Yoga is a lifelong study. There is no perfection. There is no need to wait until you are more flexible, stronger, thinner, or can meditate for an hour. You are never too old. The time for yoga is now.
Physical requirements: able to climb one flight of stairs as our studio is on the second floor and able to get to and from the floor independently.
