A Practice for Healing

This is a class for healing. When you experience tragedy or loss, it is common to look for ways to escape the awareness of your physical body.

Imagine it this way,

You may find yourself watching movies or scrolling social media to zone out, you might get really busy and avoid sitting still, or you could numb out with alcohol or other substances.

These are all examples of the ways we try to get out of our bodies and minds and experience a break from the pain. The trouble is - that pain will only store itself away and cause you to start finding strange ways to avoid feeling that uncomfortable thing you’ve decided to hold onto.

Can we avoid the messy details and the indulgence in the tragedy of it all, and instead, can we offer ourselves the space to feel what we’re feeling, to hold space for the sadness that exists, and be able to let it go with love and compassion?

This is what we would like to offer the community:

A space to feel what is there, to look at the ugly parts of life, and to let it all go with grace and acceptance. We open our doors for a 60 minute experience that will take you through a gentle, healing practice that offers space to slow down and feel into any heaviness that you are experiencing in life right now. Together we will clear this energy, and return more whole and grounded in the safety of your body and spirit.

Class will be a slow pace, with supported postures that are held for a longer duration of time. We will elevate the experience through simple breath work practices, and the use of sage, and sound to clear the energy and the space.
