Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing

  • Light House Yoga 1060 Osgood Street North Andover, MA, 01845 United States (map)

Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing is a deeply restorative event designed to relax the body and mind, guiding you into a state of conscious relaxation where healing can take place on multiple levels. This event combines the benefits of Yoga Nidra (a form of guided meditation) with the therapeutic power of sound healing instruments, such as crystal bowls, gongs, and tuning forks, to promote profound relaxation and emotional well-being.

What to Expect:

Yoga Nidra:

Yoga Nidra, also known as "yogic sleep," is a state of conscious relaxation where you are guided through a series of visualizations, body scans, and breath awareness techniques to access deep relaxation. It allows you to achieve a meditative state while still being awake, which can help alleviate stress, reduce anxiety, and promote healing on both physical and emotional levels.

Sound Healing:

During the session, live sound healing instruments are played to facilitate relaxation, release blockages, and activate the body’s natural healing processes. Instruments like crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and tuning forks produce vibrations that can help balance the energy in the body, stimulate the nervous system, and bring the mind into a state of harmony.

Event Benefits:

Stress Reduction: Deep relaxation helps to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress and promoting a sense of calm and balance.

Emotional Healing: Sound frequencies can assist in releasing trapped emotions and restoring emotional equilibrium.

Improved Sleep: Regular practice of Yoga Nidra can improve the quality of sleep and promote deeper rest.

Mental Clarity: The meditative quality of Yoga Nidra, combined with sound healing, allows the mind to enter a state of stillness and clarity.

Energy Balancing: Sound vibrations help to clear blockages and balance the body’s energy centers (chakras), leading to improved vitality and overall well-being.

What to Bring:

+Comfortable clothing (yoga or lounge wear)

+A yoga mat, blanket, and pillow (optional for extra comfort)

+A water bottle for hydration
