Take Charge of Your Postpartum

  • Light House Yoga 1060 Osgood Street North Andover, MA, 01845 United States (map)

Whether expecting your little one in the near future or recently had your baby, this workshop will allow you to feel prepared for your postpartum. This is the workshop you didn't know you needed. We will start by grounding into your body and performing gentle movements that you can do week 1 after baby. We will discuss the importance of healing the pelvic floor after baby, when you can start and what that looks like. We will also discuss the energetics of the pelvis, how it is the engine of the body and what that means for you postpartum. During these discussions the interconnection and correlation between physical and mental health will become apparent. Practical Tips will also be discussed and practiced including body mechanics with lifting, carrying baby and getting out of bed as well as what can be included in a postpartum plan. We will end with a meditation and EFT tapping session to anchor into your inner knowing and confidence in motherhood. This is a space for you to be held and supported so you can bloom into the mother you were meant to be.
